Workshop
A scientific workshop to discuss the most recent advancements in the context of ultracold atom physics and related fields. Experimental and theoretical groups from Palaiseau (France) and Florence (Italy) research areas will present their activities and discuss collaborations in topics ranging from metrology and entanglement to quantum transport and simulation.

Program
The scientific program will start in the afternoon of April 19th 2022 and end on the evening of April 21st. Talks will be given by senior and young members of the research groups and will also be accessible online in live web streaming.
A poster session and lab tours will be organized for participants in presence.
Venue & Logistics

The workshop will be held at Villa La Stella (Via Iacopone da Todi 12), just a few kilometers from the historical center of Florence, on the beautiful Fiesole hill.

 

 

Villa La Stella can be reached by public transportation with bus n.7 from Santa Maria Novella railway station (bus timetable). Free parking is allowed at the location (car sharing among participants is encouraged since the parking slots are limited).
 
Conference dinner, lunches and coffee breaks are offered to all participants. The conference dinner will be held on the evening of April 21st in the panoramic restaurant on the rooftop of Hotel Baglioni, in downtown Florence (Piazza dell'Unità Italiana 6).
